Specialists in innovative floor system solutions
A raised floor system on height-adjustable pedestals. The void beneath houses air conditioning, heating and electrical installations and stays fully accessible at all times.
A reinforced version of the raised floor with special pedestals and C-profiles for high load capacities — ideal for control rooms, data centres and industry.
Dry construction elements laid floating with tongue and groove on steel pedestals. No screed, no drying time — the floor is ready for covering after 24 hours.
Shuttering mounted on pedestals is poured over with flow screed — a seamless surface with defined openings for access to the service void.
Floor coverings for raised floors and screed surfaces: textile coverings, resilient coverings such as LVT/linoleum, and hard coverings — including ESD-capable options.
We refurbish ageing raised floors — from a simple covering change to renewing the entire substructure. Even while your operation keeps running.
For areas where a conventional raised floor is not an option — grating floors, access walkways and integrated bespoke installations, individually engineered.
Floor systems at a glance
Which system suits your project? The four Bredo floor systems with their key technical data, compared side by side.
| System | Construction | Accessibility | Overall height | Max. point load | Ready for covering |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raised floor | Individual elevated panels on height-adjustable pedestals | Fully demountable | 80–1.500 mm | up to 5 kN (Class 6, DIN EN 12825) | ready for foot traffic and covering immediately |
| Dry hollow floor | Mineral-based panels, dry-bonded | Access frames & raised floor ducts | from 40 mm | up to 7 kN (special construction up to 20 kN) | after approx. 24 hours |
| Poured hollow floor | Shuttering with anhydrite flow screed | Selective access via inspection openings | 95–355 mm | up to 5 kN (Class 5) | after screed drying (approx. 4 weeks) |
| Control room floor | Raised floor with reinforced C-profile frame | Open frames, accessible panel by panel | 150–1.500 mm | from 3 kN, special construction 10–20 kN | ready for foot traffic and covering immediately |
Answers about our floor systems
We design, install and refurbish raised floors, dry and poured hollow floors, control room floors, floor coverings and bespoke solutions such as grating floors or service walkways. The right system for every requirement — backed by more than 30 years of experience.
Raised floors consist of individually pedestal-supported panels that can be lifted out at any time without damage. Hollow floors are laid as a continuous surface over a support structure and are particularly robust, though less flexible for later installations. Which system suits your project depends on load class, floor covering and use — we're happy to advise you in detail.
Yes. For sensitive environments such as data centres, control rooms and switchgear installations, we supply raised floors with ESD-dissipative coverings, high load classes to DIN EN 12825 and fire-tested materials.
In most cases, yes. We inspect the substructure and panels, replace damaged elements, renew the floor covering or convert the system entirely — even while your facility remains in operation, in stages or overnight.
Our systems accept carpet tiles, PVC, linoleum, LVT, parquet, natural stone, porcelain stoneware and glass. ESD-capable and acoustically effective specialist coverings are also possible.
That depends on the area, system and covering. A 500 m² office floor is usually ready for use within a few days; for larger projects, we plan phased installations together with you so your operations can continue with minimal disruption.
